Project Details

The City of Stephenville selected Provenance Engineering to provide design, bid and construction phase services for a new water supply system. The engineering services provided included hydrogeology, surveying, geotechnical, process mechanical, civil, electrical, structural, instrumentation & control.

Challenges

Through a planning study included in the project, Provenance Engineering identified city growth projections previously established showed a water supply shortfall in less than 20 years. The project’s main objective is to address the immediate needs, and plan for future new water supplies including water reuse and Aquifer Storage and Recovery.

Solutions

The Provenance Engineering team developed a new water supply that would be brought into a different pump station. The Project was divided into four bid packages. Design of the first package began in January of 2021 with final construction completion of all four packages by May of 2024.
