Project Details

The City of Rio Vista selected Provenance Engineering to provide a master plan of the wastewater treatment plant expansion. During the planning phase, Provenance led the funding effort and successfully secured a 100% grant for the project. The project includes a new headworks structure, a 300% increase in treatment capacity to meet growth demands, and upgrades to the existing processes and infrastructure. Provenance also coordinated with TCEQ to evaluate the future peak flow management and tertiary filtration options.

Solutions

Provenance Engineering collaborated with the City to develop practical and cost-effective solutions that improved service levels for the community. In addition to the design, Provenance completed all permitting work with TCEQ.  The team secured $3 million in grant funding to support the project’s implementation.
