Project Details

The City of Stephenville selected Provenance Engineering to provide design, bid and construction phase services for a new water supply program. As part of the overall program, a bid package that included rehab of the existing pump station, a new 4 MGD pump station, planning for a future pump station, a new 1 Million Gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank, rehabilitation of the existing 1 MG concrete tank, new chlorine injection and monitoring, and new raw and finished water metering was developed.

Challenges

Keeping the existing high service pump station in operation during construction to minimize downtime.

Solutions

The Provenance Engineering team developed a plan to keep the existing pump station fully operational until startup and commissioning of the new pump station could be completed. Completed on time.
