Challenges
The existing 21-inch sewer line had numerous challenges: plugged with roots from trees; bare minimum cover crossing Graham Street, a TXDOT highway; and no defined existing easement for construction. However the biggest challenge was routing the bypass pumping across Graham Street.
Solutions
Overall, the team’s services included successfully cleaning the existing line and a bypass pumping plan across a TXDOT highway under construction. Image below depicts similar project conditions.
