The City of Grapevine selected Provenance Engineering to complete the design, bid, and construction of over 5 MGD of cloth media filters, instrumentation and controls, structural modifications, canopy and site improvements.
The existing traveling bridge tertiary filters were not performing adequately and the City wanted to replace with cloth disk filters.
The Provenance Engineering team evaluated multiple options to replace the sand filters, including evaluation of a peak flow treatment option that could be used for tertiary treatment and also provide peak wet weather flow treatment capacity.
