Giving Back Initiative
Provenance Engineering has been deeply rooted in the local & international communities since our before our firm’s inception. We are servant leaders.

I am called
to use my civil engineering skills to be Uniquely Different and build a better world –
– like on my recent mission trip to Kenya with Mattaw Relief. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner of Drill for Life to discuss their plans for an upcoming new well for the remote village in Turkana County. Later in the trip, we visited the future well site as our team conducted a medical clinic for the village that the well would serve. On this same trip, I met with a project manager who was overseeing a new water supply and elevated storage tank for the Lodwar Hospital. We discussed the hospital project and some asset assessments of the hospital’s infrastructure while the medical team provided care for pediatric patients at Lodwar Hospital.

HIGHER EDUCATION CONTRIBUTIONS
We don’t just build infrastructure—we help build the future of engineering
At Provenance Engineering, we believe in the power of education to shape the next generation of engineers. Our team actively engages with higher education institutions across Texas, collaborating with student organizations, faculty, and industry groups to share knowledge, mentor aspiring engineers, and conduct project site tours with students to support hands-on learning experiences.
Through partnerships with ASCE, WEAT, and university Senior Design courses, we provide real-world insights that bridge the gap between academics and industry application. Our engineers regularly visit colleges to speak with students about water and wastewater infrastructure challenges, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering.
Beyond the classroom, we are committed to fostering STEM education by encouraging students to explore careers in engineering, providing mentorship, and helping develop future problem-solvers who will drive innovation in our communities.
